TDDP is an integrated system of dance education. Its key components are:
1.Initial placement
2.Instructions
3.Assessment of progress
1.Initial placement
Enrolment in the activities of Tangere Dance Studio has the following steps:
After registration (filling out the application form) and the initial placement lesson (o - for all levels of proficiency), new applicants for the courses are advised on the proficiency level they should start at.This lessons structure is based on the profound methodological knowledge of our professional instructors. Its purpose is to rank the applicants into the level of competence most appropriate for them. The aim of initial placement is to choose the most suitable dance level, on which to start in Tangere Dance Studio. Thus we are trying to prevent our clients from feeling too slow or too fast as compared to the whole group. This is why we insist on setting up groups with balanced proficiency.

2.Instructions
Instructions are naturally the most important part of the programme (TDDP).). The qualified and experienced teachers of dance who provide them, will in the process of education take into account your performance and help you make progress.. The training programmes of our teachers are in line with the up-to-the-minute dance trends - many of which are elaborated techniques of employing the body and will present you with new sequences and types of movement. Instructions are also theoretical - as participants of the activities offered by Tangere Dance Studios you are allowed to use internal materials, tape recordings and supplementary material on methodology. The instructions ought to direct your attention in order to make your attendance at Tangere Dance Studio concentrated and efficient.Instructions, of course, only make sense if accompanied with regular and systematic training with as few lessons skipped as possible.
3.Assessment of progress
Tangere Dance Studio knows what is behind your decision to take part in our activities. We will evaluate your progress at the end of the semester by means of so-called open lessons in which we try to recap the acquired skills.
A lesson of this kind is similar to a reguar lesson.Nevertheless, it is entirely without explanations and teachers input.. With groups of children or youngsters, a public performance is substituted for this lesson. You ought to interpet the acquired knowledge within your interpretive capabilities.
The aim of this lesson is to show you what you should focus upon, where your weaknesses and strengths lie.In addition, it gives information to your instructor on where you need support, what you should focus upon more intensely in your further training.. If you fulfil all requirements stated by the learning programme and you have no difficulty performing the material presented during the course, you are recommended into a higher level of dance proficiency.
