Hatha Yoga

In Tangere Dance Studio, exercises based on the yoga therapy are available throughout the year. The aim of yoga therapy is to influence the inside and outside of the body by means of specific poses "asan" or breathing exercises "prenayama". Weighed down by the stress of everydays work, most of us are not aware of their customary patterns of movement.

Our spiral column and musculature suffer most.You do not need to be referred to these exercises by your physician after seeing him about your existing health problems. They are here for those who wish to stay healthy, who think of their health and know that directed movement activities (like the methods of yoga) have a compensational character when there is a disorder in the musculature, like the shortening or slackening of muscles; they releave stress, keep the body in a good shape, keep one vital and flexible. Combined with the breathing exercises, they have a good influence on the whole structure of the body, the whole nervous, circulatory and endocrine system. The exercises are controlled, slow; awareness and concentration play an important role in them. They are anatomically and physiologically elaborated so that their long-term effect would be a better state of health.

If you already suffer from some damage of your locomotive organs, by active training you will learn how to avoid using your body in a wrong way which might aggrevate the disfunction and cause you even more pain and discomfort.
