This is a one-man show performed by Jan Gonscak and his guests flamenco guitarist Peter Granc and cajon player Dan Godany. This purely male show will carry you into an ultimate Spanish atmosphere filled with excitement coming from the pulsation of flamenco rhythms. Being a professional dancer, Jan Gonscak has the gift for creating a connection between the audience and the performers, which is very much alive. His solo dancing accompanied by live music creates images full of energy and characterised by virtuoso presentation of the rhythmic flamenco spirit. He goes much beyond pure dance-rhythmic interpretation both in his bodily expression and flamenco singing. Through dancing he unveils the poetic, emotional dimensions of his personality, which gives emotional colouring to the performance, otherwise essentially exhibitionist in its character. Technical requirements: 3 microphones (for public addressing) Dance area: 4 x 4 m plus area for musicians Dance flooring: wooden (parquet, woodblock), by no means stone Lighting is welcome - 3 spotlights plus coloured filters (red, blue and amber) - not a prerequisite though.
